The optimal candidate is a person in the 30 to 60 year old age group who wants to tighten or lift certain areas of skin but who isn't ready for a facelift surgery. Most people like to target the nasolabial folds that go on either side of the nose to the sides of the mouth, and the marionette lines that go from the corners of the mouth down to the side of the chin. But many other areas can be targeted including the cheeks, brow, jowls, neck and underneath the chin. People older than 60 can be treated but typically don't see results as good as those younger. Frequently, more senior adults and those seeking more dramatic results would benefit more from a surgical facelift.
